The USD 235 Board of Education approved an insurance bid and bids for equipment and other district needs at the board’s May 8 meeting. After discussion and information from Tim Travis representing Billiard, Hammer and Hartman Insurance in Fort Scott, the board later in the meeting unanimously approved a motion to approve the quote of $77,910 from the company for property, casualty and workers compensation insurance for the 2017-18 school year...
