The evening was nice for the Monday Night Dance at Buck Run Community Center. It was cold and getting colder as the weather progressed. We had a few more at the dance tonight. The band was good and we did give the audience some good music. Alva McNely the singer and fiddle player from Pittsburg sang a lot of Christmas songs and of course Marion Shrimplin sang his share and he said he played in a group at Nevada Sunday afternoon and did a lot of Christmas carols, so he was in tune for Monday night.. ...
