Tynce Joles, 37, of Fort Scott, died Saturday Dec. 12, 2009. He was born May 27, 1972 in Fairview, Okla., to Tynce "Tiny'' Loyd I and LaJeanna Sara (Springer) Joles. He is survived by his father, Tiny Joles of Fort Scott, his children; Tynce Malachi Joles, of the home, and Enid Rand Joles, two sisters; Tammy Skaggs and Rusty of Fort Scott, Tonya LaPiere of Enid, Okla., four brothers; Tracy Joles and Angie of Fort Scott, Tommy Joles, of Fort Scott, Keith Bradley, of Fort Scott, and Kevin Stewart of Garnett, Kan.. ...

The Fort Scott Police Department released information Monday morning in regards to the murder of a rural Fort Scott resident Saturday night. Shortly before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, the FSPD responded to the 300 block of North Ford Street in reference to a call of a disturbance in which it was reported that gun shots were fired. ...
