Fort Scott City Commissioners on Tuesday discussed and later voted to disapprove a presented ordinance on food trucks. On Sept. 16, commissioners directed City Manager Brad Matkin and City Attorney Bob Farmer to draft an addendum to the city’s solicitors, canvassers and peddler’s ordinance to address food trucks, and tabled the issue until October. Gorman reaches 100 wins

Fort Scott High School senior Abbie Gorman, member of the Lady Tiger tennis team, reached a career milestone with her 100th win last weekend at the SEK Tournament in Chanute.
