Kathryn Irene Thiry passed away on Aug. 13, 2020. She was born July 6, 1925 in Uniontown, Kan., the daughter of Charlotte and Charles McKinnis. She was married to William Thiry for 58 years. He preceded her in death in 2001. Her only sibling, Milton McKinnis, preceded her in death in 1961...

George R. Hall, age 76, resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Friday, Aug. 21, 2020, at the K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. Services for George Hall will be announced by the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, Kan.

Even in the midst of a pandemic, the three sons of Don and Jean Tucker, as well as their families, found a way to celebrate a set of anniversaries.
