County to rent equipment to prepare for quarry blasts

Public Works Director Jim Harris asked commissioners to consider renting a bulldozer to help with preparing quarries for future blasts. He said dozer work is needed at the Shephard Quarry. The Bourbon County Fair began Friday night with the ACR/IPRA rodeo. Saturday’s events were the 4-H and Open Dog Show and the conclusion of the rodeo in the evening. On Sunday, 4-H’ers took to the arena for the annual 4-H Horse Show. Monday was the day for checking entries into the fair, including judging of exhibits in the 4-H Building.
