The Kansas State High School Activities Association released Sub-State assignments for basketball in classes 3A on down and wrestling for all four classes Thursday morning. With the changes in Class 4A that make Sub-State the same as classes 6A and 5A, Fort Scott High’s teams won’t know what their assignments are until seeding takes place at the end of the season...

LEAVENWORTH — Fort Scott Community College’s women improved to 8-1 on the season with an 80-57 over the Saint Mary junior varsity here Tuesday night. The Greyhounds led 25-18 after one period and extended that slightly to 41-29 at the half. Following up a 61-rebound afternoon against Allen last Saturday, the ’Hounds dominated the boards again, this time by a 51-37 margin.
