New pet ordinance passed at Uniontown

During Tuesday's regular monthly meeting, the Uniontown City Council approved an ordinance that will effect every dog and cat owner in the city limits, starting Jan. 1. Ordinance 169 provides public safety by requiring all dogs and cats kept within the city limits to be registered with the city and vaccinated for rabies, at annual cost of $5 for each spayed or neutered animal and $7 for each that haven't been spayed or neutered...

UNIONTOWN -- Uniontown's volleyball team tuned up for Sub-State play with a sweep of Pleasanton and Moran at home Tuesday. These were non-league matches among the Three Rivers League rivals.
