Aleah M. Sutterby, age 16, resident of Redfield, Kan., died early Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, Mo., as the result of an automobile accident. Arrangements for Aleah Sutterby will be announced by Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main.

Timothy John Myers 55, of Fort Scott, Kan., died 7:56 a.m. Monday July 8, 2013 at his home following an illness. Tim was born Sept. 3, 1957 in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Raymond (Short) and Marilyn (McQuity) Myers. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Fort Scott High School.
