Since the City of Fort Scott purchased the Woodland Hills Golf course just a little more than two years ago, the city appointed a golf advisory board to make recommendations concerning the repair and maintenance of the course. The Fort Scott 16-year-old traveling baseball team has been busy in the past couple of weeks. Two weekends ago, they won the Paola Post 156 2013 Junior Legion Classic. Last week, they split a doubleheader at Frontenac. Fort Scott won the Paola tournament by winning two of the three games. ...
