Growing conditions that are conducive to nitrate or prussic acid poisoning occur often in Kansas. Both poisonings are associated with forage and grain sorghums, sudan grass and sorghum-sudan hybrids. Fort Scott man injured in collision with semi-trailer on U.S. 69
