Thomas Ray Graham

Thomas Ray Graham, 73, of Kansas City, Kan., passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 28, 2025, at Providence Medical Center. He was born on Jan. 9, 1952, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Elbert and Charlotte Graham.

On June 14, 1980, Tom married the love of his life, Peggy, and together they shared 45 years of marriage. Tom loved being outdoors and found joy in fishing, camping, and working on his lawn mowers. Fishing trips, especially those shared with his granddaughter MaKenzie, were among his favorite moments. He was known for being incredibly handy and could fix almost anything, always willing to put his skills to use for family and friends. In quieter moments, Tom enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sue Chandonett. Tom is survived by his wife, Peggy; his sons, Brandon Graham (Holly) and Jeremy Graham (Ashley); his grandchildren, Garrison, Jenna, Ashlyn, and MaKenzie; his siblings, Fred Graham, Rick Graham, and Kim Burkett; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him fondly.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, at Maple Hill Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kan.
