No details yet on ER plan

Although details have not yet been disclosed, work continues on a plan to bring an emergency department and other healthcare services to Bourbon County.

On Monday, Bourbon County Commissioner Clifton Beth said he continues to be involved in ongoing talks with three entities. He said discussions have included himself, Bourbon County Regional Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) Executive Director Rob Harrington, and TJ Denning, COO of JG Healthcare Solutions, the parent company that recently brought the Kansas Renewal Institute to Fort Scott and Bourbon County. The KRI provides a variety of behavioral health services.
