FSCC flag football team raising funds for nationals

The Fort Scott Community College women’s flag football team is raising funds for a trip to national competition in May.

The Fort Scott Community College women’s flag football team is gearing up for a trip to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and National Junior College Athletics Association nationals May 7-10 in Atlanta, Ga.

The team is currently conducting fundraisers to cover the cost of the trip as the college “is only able to provide the vehicle, drivers and fuel,” first-year Greyhound Head Coach Abbi Munson said.

“The rest has been put on us to fundraise,” she said.
