Ballot issue resolved without impacting election

Bourbon County Clerk Jennifer Hawkins’ first election in her position did not come without a hiccup.

On Wednesday, Hawkins told the Tribune it was discovered during advanced voting early last week that some ballots were not going through the voting machine properly and officials could not identify the cause, which was later found and corrected.
