Honey Lou (Davis) Dhans

Honey Lou (Davis) Dhans of Lawrence, Kan., passed away May 30, 2023, after several years of ill health. Born and raised in Fort Scott, Kan., she attended Victory country school and then Fort Scott Junior High and High School, graduating with the Class of 1973. She lived for short periods in Springfield, Mo., Austin, Texas, and Sand Springs, Okla. She went by Lou during her adult life. However, most Fort Scott friends and family knew her as “Boose.”

She is survived by a daughter, Tymber Lynn (Dhans) Brennan of Austin, Texas, a sister, Candy Davis of Lawrence, Kan., and a half-sister, June Ann (Leslie) White of Fort Scott. She was pre-deceased by her mother, Emma Lou (Ball) Davis, her father, Merle Davis, a brother, Trick Davis, and a half-brother, George Leslie.
