Gerald Wayne Jones (Rosie)

Gerald Wayne Jones (Rosie) of Nevada, Mo., passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023.

Gerald was born March 21, 1962 to Adam Harold and Mary Lee (Hobbs) Jones. The second of eight children, he was raised in Richards, Mo., and attended Nevada schools.

Gerald married Kelli Renee Mitchell and they were married for many years. To this union were three children; Kaila Dawn, Dustin Wayne and Derrik Raye.

When Gerald was younger, he enjoyed stock car racing and deer and coon hunting. He also founded the Richards garden tractor pulls that went on for many years. In later years, he enjoyed time spoiling his grandkids.

Survivors include one daughter, Kaila Harth (Mark), Richards, Mo.; two sons, Dustin Jones, Nevada, Mo., and Derrik Jones (Christina) Clever, Mo.; his mother Mary Lee Jones, Nevada, Mo.; brothers Dean Jones (Kirn), Ocala, Fla., Andy Jones (Becky), Holister, Mo., Adam Jones (Marti), Milo, Mo.; Sisters Cindy Harris (Eric), Clever, Mo., and Linda Loden (Bobby), Springfield, Mo.; grandchildren William “ Treyton” Kimberlin, Nevada, Mo., Katelin Kimberlin (Clay Forkner), Richards, Mo. Kiera Stafford, Clever, Mo., Waylon Harth, Richards, Mo., Weston Harth, Richards, Mo. Dakota Jones, Richards, Mo. Lane Jones, Nevada, Mo., Rayelyn Jones, Clever, Mo., Wyatt Jones, Clever, Mo., great grandchildren Kaisley Forkner, Richards, Mo., Colton Kimberlin, Nevada, Mo., Kyla Forker, Richards, Mo.; special friend Trecia Pettit, and many nieces and nephews.

Gerald was proceeded in death by his father, Adam Harold Jones in 1990, brother Greg Allen Jones in 1992 and brother Steven Lee Jones in 2020.

There will be a celebration of life held at noon July 8, 2023, at The Boys Ranch in Nevada, Mo.
