Swimmers take first at home meet as season nears end

Fort Scott High School’s cooperative girls’ swim team brought back first place and some swimmers recorded best times at a home meet Friday at the Pittsburg YMCA.

“The girls had a fantastic night at our first-ever home swim meet,” Head Coach Madeline Martin said. “They made it known that it was their pool and sent our seniors off in grand fashion. It’s hard to believe that we only have two meets left this season.”
