County attorney asks for, gets pay increase

The Bourbon County attorney will receive a bump in pay after speaking with the Bourbon County Commissioners during their Thursday meeting.

Bourbon County Attorney Tiana McElroy spoke to commissioners during the public comment portion of the meeting prior to commissioners unanimously voting to approve McElroy’s request. McElroy talked about her interest in staying in Bourbon County after applying for a similar position in another county. McElroy said she was a “little bit emotional.”
