Preliminary hearing set in capital murder case

A preliminary hearing has been set for a Bourbon County man facing a capital murder charge.

On Monday, Bourbon County District Judge Mark Ward and attorneys in the case of the State of Kansas vs. Dawson James Mitchell agreed to set a preliminary hearing for 9 a.m. Thursday, June 29. Ward said the hearing may run into Friday, June 30.
