Final approval given for sheriff’s vehicles

The Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office will add two vehicles to its fleet after approval Tuesday by the Bourbon County Commission.

Commissioners and Sheriff Bill Martin discussed bids and purchase options for vehicles Martin had requested in the 2023 budget. Commissioners later approved Commissioner Clifton Beth’s motion to allow Martin to purchase two white 2022 Ford Police Interceptors with all-wheel drive at a total cost of $107,321.
