Discussion begins on changing Uniontown Junior High athletic practice time

Parents and other USD 235 patrons are being asked what they think about changing junior high sports practices from seventh hour to after school.

Uniontown Junior Senior High School Principal Tracy Smith said transportation is always an issue for junior high students. He said the district currently runs buses at 5:15 p.m. for the after school program and if practices ran from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m., the student athletes could ride the same buses.
