Kathryn Eckland, age 71, formerly of Sugar Valley Lakes near Mound City, Kan., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017 at Menorah Medical Center.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in Mound City. A visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Schneider Funeral Home & Crematory, Mound City Chapel.
