Kathleen M. Camp, age 92, a former resident of Fort Scott, Kan., and more recently of Olathe, Kan., died Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at the Pinnacle Ridge Nursing Home in Olathe. She was born Oct. 13, 1924, in Bishops Waltham, England, the daughter of Ernest Fredrick Terrill and Celina May Emery Terrill. Kathleen married Clarence Herbert Camp on July 5, 1945, in Winchester, England, while he was serving with the United States military. Kathleen and Clarence lived for a time in Fort Scott and later moved to Johnson County. While in Fort Scott, Kathleen was employed in the dietary department of Mercy Hospital. She was later retired as housekeeping supervisor for the Johnson County Courthouse. She was a member of the Church of Christ at 15th at Crawford in Fort Scott. She and her husband enjoyed camping trips throughout the United States. They also enjoyed square dancing.

Survivors include a son, Noel Camp and wife, Kenda, of Olathe; two granddaughters, Milynn VanDekerkhove and husband, Ken, of Olathe and Mylette Hodges and husband Garry, of Gurnee, Ill.; and a great-grandson, Owen Russell Hodges. Her husband, Clarence, preceded her in death on June 16, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ernest and Charlie and four sisters, Rosie, Iris, Hilda and Beatrice.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in the U.S. National Cemetery.
