Tiger golfer wins Uniontown tourney by 10 strokes

Fort Scott's Lauren Madison shot 50 at Woodland Hills Golf Course Thursday to win Uniontown's junior varsity golf tournament by 10 strokes.

Columbus was the team champion, shooting 260.

Courtney Williams shot 73 for the Tigers while Marissa Allen came in at 74 and Kaitlyn Hanks carded 84. Fort Scott finished fifth as a team with a four-woman score of 281.

Uniontown was one stroke behind in sixth at 282. Daryan Herring finished 13th with her 68. Aubry O'Neal shot 70, Libby Franks 71, Laryn Thompson 73 and Torri Reed 84.
