TRENTON, Mo. -- Sierra Shoulders recorded a double-double here Saturday afternoon as Fort Scott Community College's women took an 84-72 win over North Central Missouri.

The 84 points were the most scored by an FSCC women's team since an 84-91 loss against Neosho County on Dec. 2, 2009. Fort Scott had gone 120 games since without scoring 80 points.

Shoulders accomplished her double-double in unconventional fashion. Rather than points and rebounds, Shoulders dished out 14 assists while scoring 11 points. Malori Gales added 18 points while Denise Levine scored 14 as she made 4 of 6 three-point attempts.

The Greyhounds led 43-29 at halftime. They shot 54 percent from the field, making 31 of 57 field-goal attempts, while holding North Central to 40 percent on 25 of 62. The 'Hounds also outrebounded the Pirates, 37-32. Shoulders also had the team high there with 6 boards while Gales, Amanda Cicero and Makayla Cole each had 5.

Kayla Oetterer led NCMC with 20 points with Brooke Parton adding 17, Lexi Hope 15 and Samone Redditt 10.
