UJH football beats Oswego

OSWEGO -- Uniontown Junior High's football team raced out an early lead and held on to down Oswego Thursday night on the road, 36-24.

"We played really well the first half," coach Chad Hays said. "We returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and cruised to 30-8 halftime lead. We were able to held on in the second half."

The Eagles play the third of four consecutive road games which kick off the season on Thursday at Northeast.
