Letter to the Editor

To the Editor:

A special thank you to the Ministerial Alliance for choosing The Sharing Bucket/Care to Share as this year's recipient of the offering at last week's Community Thanksgiving Service. The funds from this wonderful offering will be utilized to help those survivors from our community in their fight with cancer. (An individual is considered a survivor the day they are diagnosed with cancer).

We are very thankful for the generous response from our area which has enabled our organization to fulfill its mission statement, "To provide friendship and support through emotional and financial assistance to individuals who are cancer survivors and their caregivers of SEK because We Care to Share. Matthew 17:20, "If you have faith as a small mustard seed, nothing shall be impossible for you" inspires us daily in our activities.

Every day is a day of thanksgiving for many persons in our community. Again, a special thank you to those attending and the offering at last week's community service.
