To the Editor:

The citizens of Fort Scott have been given a wonderful oppurtunity to see and hear some of the finest musical talent in the area. I'm talking about the Classic Country Music Show from the Middle Creek Opera in Louisburg. Every first and third Friday night, this group of entertainers put on a Branson quality show for half the cost and none of the driving.

I have been privileged to hear this group several times and can vouch for the quality and family-friendly nature of their show. We really need to get out and support this group or we could get stuck with another "show" like we had before. Come out to the Memorial Hall this Friday evening and see for yourself. I know you will be pleasantly surprised. This is also one of the few senior citizen activities available to the people of Fort Scott. Thank you.
