Rotary Citizen of the Year

Susan Barrett, executive vice president of Heritage State Bank, has been selected as the Citizen of the Year by the Nevada Rotary Club. Barrett, as all recipients, was selected by past recipients who vote on nominees suggested by the public. Barrett is being recognized for her involvement with Vernon County Cancer Relief, the First Baptist Church and her leadership in the Missouri Bankers Association.

Barrett will be honored on June 17 at the Nevada Country Club with a reception and dinner beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets for the event are available through Jana Ireland, Heritage State Bank, Jeremy Fast, Eyecare Professionals, Susan McBeth, Nevada Public Library or Myles Miller, Edward Jones. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the charity of Barrett's choice.
