Neighborhood Revitalization sponsors contest to give away Nintendo Wii

The Neighborhood Revital-ization action team from Fort Scott Community Visioning has an incentive to get more people involved in revitalizing Fort Scott.

The NR team has service projects planned throughout the summer, including park clean up, neighborhood clean up block parties, tree planting, inoperative vehicle disposal drives and clean sweeps.

To encourage participation at these events, the NR team will give a Nintendo Wii to the person, regardless of age, who has the most volunteer hours at the end of September. Volunteers must sign in and stay for at least half the project. In the event of a tie, names will be entered in a random drawing and one name will be pulled at the winner.

The NR team has already started to log volunteer hours from the clean sweep held on May 20.
