Meia B. Johnson

Meia BriAnne Johnson, age 3, 1405 Margrave St., Fort Scott, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, at Mercy Health Center.

She was born March 10, 2002, the daughter of Terrence Johnson and Brandi Morris.

Survivors include her parents; a brother, Isaiah Johnson; a sister, Dailyn Morris; maternal grandparents Mark and Susan Schnichels; paternal grandparents James and Catherine Johnson; great-grandparents Betty Wiggans, Elfie Schnichels, and Melvin Willard.

She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Paul Morris, Sr.; a great-grandfather, Donald Wiggans; and a great-grandmother, Elinor Willard.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 15th and Crawford streets, Fort Scott. David Blankenship and John Owens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery. Visitation is planned from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel, 201 S. Main St., Fort Scott. Memorial contributions are recommended to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., in care of the funeral home.
