A large circle of family and friends mourn the passing of a very dear lady at her home in Richmond Hill on May 21, 2025. Ethel LaVon Toews was born Dec. 14, 1937, in Hillsboro, Kan., the daughter of Albert and Elsie (Hein) Toews. At an early age she was called "Von" by her siblings, and later in life she was known by some as Ethel, by others as Von, and of course by some as simply Mom, Grandma, or Great Grandma. ... -
