Bourbon County Commissioners on Monday said work continues to bring an emergency room and other health care services to the county after Ascension Via Christi ceases operations Dec. 20. City commission approves funds for 2024 museum conference

The Fort Scott City Commission voted Tuesday night to support a planning committee working to organize events as Fort Scott hosts the 2024 Kansas Museum Association Conference in late 2024. Kirk Sharp, director of the Gordon Parks Museum, announced to the commission that the museum will be the host site for the conference.
