Inmate recaptured after escape from work release

Bourbon County law enforcement officers were able to recapture an inmate who walked away from duty in a work release program Wednesday morning. Judge sentences woman charged in theft, forgery case to probation

A Fort Scott woman was sentenced Wednesday to two years of probation for her involvement in felony theft and forgery from a local law firm.
