Some changes have been made to a traditional Fort Scott High School alumni baseball game, which has been expanded this year into a community event. The FSHS Tiger baseball team, which is raising money for a spring break trip, will host the 2023 Alumni Game Saturday at the LaRoche Baseball Complex. Linda L. Metcalf, age 74, of Fort Scott, passed away, Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023, at her home. She was born Dec. 27, 1948, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Albert S. Cox, Sr. and Rosalie Smith Cox. She graduated from Fort Scott High School in 1966. ...
