Betty Sue Sheehy, age 97, of Independence, Mo., formerly of Nevada, Mo., passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on Oct. 6, 1925, in Sprague, Mo., to Robert Hugh and Mary Elizabeth (Goodwin) Rutherford.
