On Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, Phillip Wayne Grant, loving husband and father of three sons, passed away at the age of 70. Phillip was born on Sept. 2, 1952, in Mapleton, Kan., to Charles and Darlene (Ball) Grant Jr. He served in the U.S. Army Kansas National guard for 31 years while also doing what he loved as an auto mechanic. Mary Elizabeth (Coe) Grove, 97, formerly of Fort Scott, passed away early Wednesday morning, Dec. 28, 2022, at Kingswood Manor, Kansas City, Mo. Arrangements will be announced by the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
