County’s rock crusher repaired after fire

The county’s new rock crusher purchased earlier this year is expected to be running again after a portion of the machine was damaged by fire the morning of Sept. 27. Public Works Director Eric Bailey reported the machine was being serviced Tuesday and was expected to be in operation again. He said because the county is “in dire need of quarter-inch chips,” the crusher would be running 10-11-hour days through Thursday...
