Marilyn Maxine Ward, age 88, a resident of rural Mulberry, Kan., passed away early Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022, at her home. She was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Jasper County, Mo., the daughter of James Endicott and Iris Wilson Endicott. Marilyn first married Harvey Harrison in 1952. They later divorced and she married John C. Ward in 1975. Marilyn was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her five children. She enjoyed sewing and doing puzzles...

Bonnie V. Patton, age 93, Hume, Mo., passed away Wednesday Aug. 24, 2022. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022 at the West Liberty United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in the Underwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to service time at the Church.
