The Girard Lady Trojan varsity softball team grabbed an early lead on the Fort Scott Lady Tigers and never looked back in a 14-3 win Monday evening at Don Hewett Field. The Lady Trojans’ aggressiveness on the base paths helped Girard (15-4) to a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
