Search for new superintendent begins

The USD 234 Board of Education has begun the process for finding a new superintendent. The school district has enlisted the help of the Kansas Association of School Boards to find a replacement for current Superintendent Ted Hessong, whose resignation becomes effective June 30. The board approved Hessong’s resignation during a special meeting April 21. Hessong has accepted a job as superintendent of the Osage City School District, USD 240, starting July 1...
