City commissioners approve bids for work on downtown buildings

Fort Scott City Commissioners approved bids for above-grade work at the Sharky’s and Freeman (Hammons) buildings on North National Avenue. The exterior walls on the south side of Sharky’s and north side of Freeman’s buildings have become exposed after the demolition of the Eagle Block building in August.
