James R. McNeley, 89, of Fort Scott, passed away Friday evening, Jan. 8, 2021, at the Girard Medical Center. He was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Loren “Bud” and Alice (Cotter) McNeley. He married Madelyn Picht on Dec. 26, 1953, in the Presbyterian Church parlor.
