Oaklynn Virginia Shadden, age 2 months, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020, at Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, Mo. She was born Aug. 20, 2020, in Nevada, Mo., the daughter of Samuel Shadden and Courtney Scheckel. Survivors include her parents; a brother, Gydeon Hall; a brother/uncle, Zayne Schnichels; grandparents, Harry “Sid” and Dollie Shadden, Fulton, Kan., Karon Schnichels (Troy Rhynerson), Fort Scott, Kan., and David C. ...

The Fort Scott High School Tiger tennis season recently completed a successful season, according to Head Coach Allison Gorman. The duo of Ella Beth, senior, and Emma Daly, junior, headed into the state tournament with a 19-3 record and finished with a 19-5 record.
