Former Fort Scott resident Roxana “Roxy” Lee Armstrong Thompson, 85, died Feb. 22, 2020, at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of The Woodlands, in Conroe, Texas. Roxana was born April 20, 1934, in Dolson Township, Clark County, Ill., to Frederick Alanson Hammond and Eula Catherine Stephenson Hammond. She was the youngest of five siblings.
