The Southeast Kansas League announced its All-League football team earlier this week and 16 members of Fort Scott High’s team received honors. Zarek Fewell was voted to the First Team as both a running back and a kick returner. Fewell scored a school record 34 touchdowns this season, tied for second on the league’s all-time single season list, and rushed for a school record 1,960 yards. Fort Scott Community College’s men had to hold off a pesky Bacone junior varsity team on the first night of the Gladbach Classic Friday night at Arnold Arena, 89-81. The Greyhounds (4-3) led by 13 at the half, 46-33, after three consecutive 3-pointers to end the period. Tyler Zinn hit from the left wing with 47 seconds remaining.
