Theresa "Terry" Black Schafer, age 91, went home to be with her Lord and His Blessed Mother on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017. She was born Jan. 31, 1926, at the family homestead in Huron, Kan., the daughter of George Black and Theresa Corrine O'Keefe Black. She married Louis Albert "Bud" Schafer., Jr. on Nov. 26, 1947, in Fort Scott. They were blessed with five sons, Joe, Bruce, Maury, William James and Louis. Terry and Bud celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary together...
