Severe weather in the area Thursday night brought with it the sounding of sirens and the threat of tornadoes. Bourbon County Emergency Manager William Wallis said Friday severe thunderstorms that brought wind, rain and "a lot of lightning and thunder" hit portions of the county, and there were some unconfirmed sightings of funnel clouds, but no reports of a tornado touching down...
