Hale goes yard in softball split

Fort Scott High junior Emily Hale became just the second Tiger softball player to hit a home run over the fence at Don Hewett Field when she did so in the second game of Thursday night's doubleheader versus Girard. Hale became the first left-handed batter to clear the fence and joins Kyenne Wade as the only Tigers to hit homers over the fence in a game.
